A young Nigerian man is forced to address a secret he has harbored from his parents during a traditional, family gathering. Film by Tomisin Adepeju is a Nigerian/British Filmmaker based in London, England.

Dear John
A child who was diagnosed with hearing loss and an attending speech impairment writes a letter to his elder brother a couple of years after his miraculous recovery. He shares his experiences; many of which were once shut within his unpleasant solitude. This film is by David Ohikhuare, who is the son of Prolific Nigerian Film Maker, Artist, and Auteur; Stanlee Ohikhuare. He is Nine years Old and "Dear John" is his first movie.

A silent short that follows the inner-trials of a young woman who suffers from mild depression and social anxiety. Over the course of a week, we indulge in snippets of her mundane daily life; narrated to us through her short and often nonsensical diary entries - mirroring her tangled thoughts. This film is by Moumy Mbacké who was born and raised in the Middle East but of West African descent, Moumy is a filmmaker and photographer currently living in Toronto, Canada.
Can I Speak
A story of Miss Moza, inherited by the younger brother after the death of her husband, with no one to listen to her, she is forced to live a life a of shame and suffering. Film by Staford Kihore.
Arthur
This is a story of a creative artist who uses art to uplift the lives of children living in Katanga, the largest slum in Uganda. Film by Ndawula Jordan "Braise" who is a Ugandan Filmmaker who studied filmmaking at Kampala Film School a subsidiary of Kampala University. He has been developing a number of short films like Ndiba: Titi Tango, (developed in the 5TH Maisha Screenwriting Film Lab founded by Mira Nair.

A priest uses religion to pray his lust. the society is gullible to his quest until the unthinkable happens. A movie aimed to reflect and tell untold stories. Emmanuel Mwape(born March 18, 1991) is a Zambian aspiring film director, writer, and poet. Founder of a gorilla production house called Delicama Filnms, based in the slums of of Zambia’s capital Lusaka, Misisi compound, born from a shanty business local couple. He made his directorial debut with a short film titled “The Interview during the Young Cinemas in Zambia workshop, and has since directed Am free(2014) an award winning short, Wrath (2014) a short film which was nominated in the best short film category in our country’s biggest film and radio awards, “Sex”,( 2016) .
Fastest Woman in Africa -Rwanda’s First Female Cyclist
The 21 years old girl, Jeanne d'Arc Girubuntu, from the low class family in the eastern of Rwanda, a country devastated by the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, made history of being the first black African woman to compete in the 2015 UCI Road World Championships in Richmond, VA and in February 2016 she emerged second in the African Continental Championships Individual Time Trial in Morocco. Film by Faustin Niyigena.
*Khayalami
A story about an African woman’s struggle to keep her traditions and customs alive while living in an increasingly Western world. Film by Denise Khumalo. Denise is currently pursuing her Masters in Filmmaking in Los Angeles, California at the New York Film Academy. She is currently working on her thesis film called “Khayalami” (My Home), a documentary that explores her constant struggle of being a Zimbabwean woman in America while trying to make it into the film industry.

At seventeen, Seyna, a teenager from Cameroon is passionate about France history, the country where she was born and she is deeply in love. Her diploma in hand, and approaching his majority, Seyna aspires only one thing: to acquire French nationality. But his father Amidou is fiercely opposed to it. Film by Josza Anjembe. Josza is a journalist for various magazines. In 2008 she directs her first documentary Cameroon massage broadcasted on TV and different festivals, followed by two others. Le Bleu Blanc Rouge de mes cheveux (French) is her first short film.
NUBUKE "a new dawn"John Ampao sees all his childhood dreams of becoming an artist, and his achievements crushing down when he is diagnosed of leprosy. He loses everything including his family. Amidst all these challenges, he lifts himself up and by a stroke of fortune sees his dream come to pass. Film by Aryee Bismark Adamafio. Born in Accra – Ghana on July 10th 1991, started elementary school at Most Holy Heart then to Riis Memorial School before proceeding to Tema Secondary School where he had his Senior High school education.

Sikukuu (Celebration Day)On the Tanzanian savanna, approximately every seven years a group of new Maasai warriors is circumcised into manhood, after which the old warriors retire as elders. In a spirit of creative competition, the girlfriends of the new warriors are determined to make ornaments that make their boyfriends and themselves outshine the previous age-set. The latest fashion is white, and this film shows the last preparations of the beaded ornaments and the celebrations till deep into the night, combining scenes of dancing and fun with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. Film by Vanessa Wijngaarden has graduated in International Relations with a research project at the International School for Humanities and Social Sciences (ISHSS) in Amsterdam and studied Cultural Anthropology at the Universities of Amsterdam and Leiden in the Netherlands and Calgary in Canada.

An idealistic social worker initiates an ambitious project to take a group of street musicians to West Africa. Fascinated by the sounds of bucket drummers she meets on Chicago's south side, Elilta Tewelde aspires to connect the young men to their African heritage through music. A native of Africa herself, she crowdfunds a trip to Senegal where the teens will participate in traditional drumming workshops under a master percussionist and his family. But the cultural divide proves wide and problems surface along the way challenging the project leaders and bucket drummers to unexpected limits and discoveries about themselves.
